What did you like best about Mira & Me? What did you like least?

Best: The narrator totally nailed the "dirty old man" persona.

Least: The book is written on a 5th-grade level, if that.

What about Roy Wellss performance did you like?

For a story told from the 1st person point-of-view of an older man, Roy Wells was a perfect fit.

Do you think Mira & Me needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Meh. Not really. It serves its purpose as audio stroke, but it has no literary merit. It's like a Honey Boo Boo of erotic audio. Entertaining enough in very small doses, but not something you'd want to consume with any regularity.

The reader can't get involved or care about the characters and not only are the main characters gay but so is the twin brother, the ex-wife and near the end she throws in a hint that the father has secrets too (for the next book I guess).

Who writes these things?

The Victorians did it better.

A wonderful read

A great set of short stories to stir the blood. They are best read by a partner or by you to yours. It is a great way to get in the mood or just send yourself off to dreamland with the right frame of mind.

Alison Tyler is my favorite BDSM author

Great book

Sexy and not sleezy

My friend bought this book for me and I thought it was going to be the usual mix of debasing women and horrible writing, stale plot lines and no back story to make it interesting but i was soooooo wrong. Each story is like a peek into a new character's mind. They are all wonderfully written and there is so much variety. There were even some surprises in the stories that made me put the book down so i could collect my thoughts. I particularly liked this book because none of the stories were frightening. Sometimes when the subject of bondage is brought up its automatically brought around to nipple clamps and weird masks and pain. None of these were like that. They had just enough bondage to be really hot and did not go overboard into the realm of scary things I do not want to think about. I finished this book over springbreak because I just could not put it down. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in or curious about erotic restraint or anyone that just wants to read wonderfully written sexy stories.

Stunningly Sexy

This book is actually amazingly sexy. There are about 175 pages and in those pages, 17 different erotic stories are contained. Each story contains elements of BDSM and restraint which is awesome. A lot of the stories include elements of dominance/submission as well. What's really neat about this collection is that it isn't all just hardcore BDSM. Some of the stories talk about using regular scarves as blindfolds while others take place in BDSM clubs where the main characters play in front of a crowd. A couple of the stories are even really unique with one of them being the story of an assassin that lures her targets by promises of sex and bondage. When she gets into bed with her target this time, she finds that she can't kill him because he provides her the best sex she's had all of her life. Overall, a great collection of stories that are great for solo reading and are short enough that they can be read out loud with a partner as well.

This book was a very hot ans sizzling read.Samantha (Sam) is the mother of 2 and her Husband Mathew are gettin ready to celebrate their Anniversary and what better way then to let Sam have the reins in the bedroom since mathew is really the sub in the relationship and loves it. Road to Desire was one smoking hot read with a dash of comedy thrown in. Alissia brings you into the world that she's created and makes it feel real making the adventure feel like your own. This story is as intriguing as the sex in it is steamy. The build up to the end is titillating and will leave you wanting more. I'd actually love to have her revisit this setting and explore more...deeply. This is a great read with all Alissia's usual style and talent. Definitely worth your time to check out.
