Jane Harber Has Your Number!
"Here...Have a Miracle" by Jane Harber is a real nuts-and-bolts approach to Chrisitianity. She touches on issues that we all struggle with. The sub-title, "Experiencing Rest & Refreshing in This Harried, Hurried World", says it all. It is a book from a woman who has experienced great sorrow and has come out on the other side. I appreciated her openness in the expression of her life. In seeing how she overcame these things in her life, I found hope for mine.

Here .. Have a Miracle
Here Have a Miracle made me think about how I live my life and how I want to live my life. As I was reading this book, I was going through some major changes in my life; moving, leaving a job that I loved, and just the normal day-to-day stresses of life. Through those things ... I kept coming back to a quote from page 33 of the book -- "Our struggles are not in vain." "... the results of our struggles can be very positive. They can hold great potential for our futures!" Ms. Harber made me think that even though I'm leaving a life I had known for almost 10 years ... I was moving with two people I love very much and things would be okay ... the struggles I was having would not be in vain. The book also told me that through this stressful time I needed to balance my life -- "There's a time for doing and a time for resting." (page 62) When I was so tired that I thought I couldn't pack another box or grade another paper for school, or do another load of laundry, I realized that was the time I needed to sit, rest and REFRESH! Thanks Jane for helping me through a crazy time in my life. I feel everyone that reads this book will take something away from it that will help them through the daily grinds of life! -- Laura Eckroat - author & teacher
