IT TOOK GUTS TO WRITE THIS BOOK!

I met Ira "Andy" at The Bookstore in Grove (Miami) in September. We were both invited by CIWA, a writer's association, and he was the guest speaker. I was the guest speaker the next month about my own book, which I gave him a copy of the final manuscript. It wasn't published until Nov 2014 so he didn't get the finished product printed by CreateSpace, an Amazon company. Anyway, I am happy that Andy shared a copy of his book. I haven't read a book in a long time, simply because I am content with the answers that I've found so far, at age 45, about life, existence, God, Jesus of Nazareth the Christ, etc. But I enjoyed reading this life history. Actually, the life of crime aside... Andy's book came at a time, or I decided to finally read it at a time, when I have found the words to ask Jesus The Christ, directly, to CLEANSE MY HEART OF VENOM, CLEANSE ME OF WHATEVER TENTACLES OR HOOKS THAT MAY BE KEEPING ME IN MY CURRENT SITUATION (Whatever that is). I also put my vices on the cross.

Heartfelt and Informative

This is a wonderful book with many heartfelt commentaries. It was an easy read and a book that should be shared with others. It will lead seekers to want to develop a stronger foundation in their Christian faith. It will provide assurance for Believers and provide a guidebook for further understanding. From a person that never really fell from Grace, but needed time to become a committed Christian, Mr. Balderston gives the details of his development, the highlights of the issues most convincing, and takes the reader from Christmas and the Birth of Christ to Easter and the Resurrection of Christ. The reality of the Resurrection made clear erased many doubts and made his Christian faith a reality.

Beautiful story of love and grief and living

I can't put into words how much more beautiful the author's actual reading of this true story made it. At times you could hear the continued sorrow in her voice as she read. Then you would hear the joy and almost see her smile as she spoke about the birth of her son. I highly recommend this sad but beautiful story of life and death and Gods goodness! I pray for Karen and hope she has found a new happiness as she certainly has known sorrow. Sorrow beyond that any should know. She also has been blessed by God in ways many of us could only hope for. Karen, if you read this review I can't express to you how meaningful and real you made the story by reading or narrating it. You did a beautiful job. God Bless You! I'd love it if you did a follow up. It would be nice to know there was a happy ending beyond where the book left off!
