Q: You are into the music business for a very long time yet. Where did you always have the best partys?

A: I think it’s in Bulgaria where the crowd is specially amazing but there’s so much awesome places, I spent really great moments also in Germany, France, Australia, Ecuador or Mexico…

Q: What is a typical “hot spot” for electronic music in France outside of Paris?

A: MONTPELLIER !!!!

Q: Which Citizen Kain releases are coming up this year?

A: There’s a new edit of my oldest hit «Doppelgänger» that will be released on Trapez Ltd. I also signed my title «Low Blow» (already played by Maceo Plex) on Blufin, another EP called «Peaches» will be released on my own imprint Neverending Rec. with great remixers, I’m also currently remixing Simina Grigoriu and I also made a fantastic partnership with my old friends Kiko, it’s not yet signed but it’s also already turning in the Maceo Plex sets. There’s also numerous unsigned tracks in the pipeline but I currently can’t tell anything about them … just stay tuned :)

Q: Probably lots of people have asked you before: What´s the secret behind your name?

A: I'm the third child in my family, but also it's my third project in the electronic realm.

Q: You´ve got a really strong release schedule the past months and years. Did you count the number of releases and labels yet?

A: No, I have the memory of a fish on crack. Seriously, I might have counted once, but yeah - FoC.

Q: You´re playing all around the world. What was the craziest experience for you?

A: I'm not sure about craziest, but my 2015 tour in Sri Lanka/India was the most memorable. The people, the culture, the food. There's something real that i've never experienced anywhere else. I also fucking love curry which helps.

3 QUESTIONS to DAVID KENO:

Q: You’ve been playing in Australia and New Zealand. What´s the difference to parties in Europe?

A: I think the difference between the European and Australian parties isn’t very big. With the internet the people are very well educated musically. So you travel around the globe and the people know all of your releases and are asking me to play a track from 2006 that I have almost forgot about myself. So I can’t really tell a difference and I mean that in a good way ;-)

Q: Which are your 3 favorite clubs in Berlin?

A: Hmm that’s not very easy to answer. At the moment I love to play mostly at Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke and maybe Wilde Renate.

Q: Katermukke, Dirtybird, Suara, Snatch! Huge label names. What coming up next?

A: My next release is coming on Mother Recordings this month. Also there is something coming up on Toolroom and Lapsus very soon.

3 QUESTIONS to DAVE SEAMAN:

Q: Did you count the number of countries where you were playing in?

A: I had to write down every country once for a visa application so I literally went through every country in the world and ticked them off so I know it’s over 80. Never in my wildest dreams did I think DJing would bring such privilege when I started.

Q: Your label Selador gets stronger each release. What are your future plans with it?

A: We’ve already got our schedule sorted through until Autumn so really it’s about managing that and starting to do some more label parties. We’ve just launched a website and done our first T shirts and vinyl. Iff we’re not careful we’ll end up being like a proper record label soon! ;-)

Q: You released on huge labels such as Suara, Noir Music, Hive Audio. What´s planned for this year?

A: I’ve done remixes for Marc Marzenit for Natura Sonoris and Glenn Morrison for his own Morrison Recordings which are both yet to come out plus a collaboration with Acumen for his album on Time Has Changed. And I’m currently working on a handful of new original productions. I’m not sure which home they’ll end up with yet. Watch this space.
