Q: You moved to Zurich few months ago. Was it for the music?
A: One reason was music too, but the main reason was my girlfriend.
Q: What was the most mindblowing gig you ever played?
A: There are many mate.. I can´t stick out one like that.
Q: After releasing on great labels such as Moon Harbour or Noir Music – what can we expect soon?
A: I am preparing an EP for Get Physical and another EP is coming on Glasgow Underground.

3 QUESTIONS to SIERRA SAM:
Q: You are a belgium guy and you moved to Berlin some years ago. Was it just because of music?
A: I moved to Berlin for a job offer: I was label manager for Contexterrior / Tuning Spork for 3 years, I am still handling labels now (Souvenir Music and Etruria Beats) so it was for music in a way. Berlin totally changed my approach to production and I started "caring" more about a possible music career. Berlin is perfect for creativity and inspiration.

Q: You played a lot of gigs in big and famous clubs. If you could choose 3 of them to play there again: which 3 will that be?
A: It is very difficult to find 3 favorite places, there are way more than 3. I really enjoy my Watergate residency where I am allowed to invite a friend to jam with me live. It started with KiNK, then Dave Aju and now we are gonna play with Yapacc and then Tolga Fidan. Panorama Bar is obviously one of the top places in the world to play, as well as Analog Room Dubai: it is the opposite of the idea people have from Dubai: a real underground club with no VIP, great sound system, amazing resident deejays, awesome crowd. One of my favourite places. I couls also talk about Ipse, Katerblau, of course The Wood Brussels which is my home, Studio 22 in Liege, Baby Boa in Geneva, La Ruche Lausanne, Badaboum Paris ... there are so many places where I love to play. They are all different but they all have something special.

Q: Following your productions there is a strong output on quality labels. What can we expect in 2015?
A: The main project is a new label I start with my partner Pascal Hetzel. We work a lot on music seperately or together and we have so much material we believe in that we decided it was time launch our own imprint so we won´t be depending on A&R, release schedules... on top of that something will come on Upon.You , Best´s Friends, Watergate Rec plus a few remixes here and there.

3 QUESTIONS to KRINK:
Q: You´ve been playing in lots of countrys yet. What was the most special moment/place for you?
A: Coming to a new place is always special to me. Though it gets more exciting the further you are from home. It still amazes me that people care for something you initially did alone, more or less for yourself and that you can come to a different city, country or even continent and there are people who know what you do and appreciate it, thats great!
Q: Describe your live-setup: How do you play your sets?
A: My live-set up is changing constantly, I usually have my Laptop with stems and loops from my productions, a drum machine and a delay with me. Sometimes I might take a synth or a keyboard with me.
Q: What´s coming next musicially?
A: There are a couple of remixes coming out in the next few weeks and I am currently working on new original material, since I have been quite busy with remixing lately, it´s good to concentrate on that a bit more now.

3 QUESTIONS to DOUGLAS GREED:
Q: The insiders know that Douglas is not your real name. So what´s the secret behind your artist name - if there is a secret?
A: I used the be a little bit of a DOUGLAS COUPLAND fan boy. So I thought it would be a nice idea to call myself Douglas. 3 years ago I met him in hamburg, it was actually my birthday. I told him that he inspired me a lot and that I call myself Douglas because of him - I think he was a bit scared of me that moment.
Q: During the years lots of people were talking about "move to Berlin, it´s the center of electronic music". Why did you not leave your hometown to follow the mass?
A: The place I live in Jena is a nice and easy going small-town in east germany. It´s all green over there - so why should I move to berlin?
Q: You had past releases on huge labels such as Freude Am Tanzen or BPitch Control. What can we expect this year?
A: I got a new project called EATING SNOW with my buddy MOORYC. We will release our debut album in september on Freude Am Tanzen.

3 QUESTIONS to HOLLIS P MONROE:
Q) Tell us about your mix. How did you select the tracks for this podcasts and what do they mean for you?
A) Basically, I chose songs that have personal significance to me. Most of the artists are people that I know personally and have influenced me in some way. In the cases where i've included a song that is directly related to me, it represents a milestone in my life and/or career.
Q) You are living in Montreal / Canada. What exactly is the difference to Europe concerning our electronic music scene and the nightlife?
A) From what I've experienced so far in the cities I've visited in Europe, there seems to be much more awareness, understanding and respect for electronic music in general from the average person. It makes for an interesting blur of the line between what is considered mainstream and what is considered underground…
Q) You are on tour in Europe since January and based in Berlin. Which cool places did you see and when are you coming for the next time?
A) For me, it's more about the people I've met and interacted with. It has been a very inspiring and motivating experience in that regard. Most likely, I'll be back in the spring/summer of 2015 with my musical partner Overnite. Right now, we are putting the finishing touches on our album for Sonar Kollektiv as The Black 80s and sorting out how we will present it in a live performance format. Then we'll be taking our show on the road…
