How I Met Your Friends

 Get ready to have your mind blown!

This week we watched "The One Where Ross Finds Out" and "Swarley," two episodes that have major crossovers in plot and characters! 

Chandler deals with some extra "insulation" and destroys Monica the way only a best friend can, Joey helps with Phoebe's confidence, and Ross finally finds out that Rachel knows. 

Ted, Marshall, and Barney hang out at a coffee shop, which leads to a date for Marshall, and Lily can't deal. 

Both episodes end in a kiss and lead into fantastic episodes next week--"Atlantic City" and "The One With the List."

Phoebe comes to terms with not being able to sing at Central Perk, Joey and Chandler prove they can't be trusted with a baby, and Ross acts like a huge baby when he has to go to the ER.

While over in the HIMYM-verse, Marshall deals with being single by "dating" his law school friend Brad, Ted and Robin are complete dicks to everyone else, and Lily and Barney get "married."

Ted is suffering through a building project that looks like male genitalia and a girlfriend who doesn't care, Marshall has to tell his law school friends that "love has died," and Barney plays with identify theft. 

Ross admits to Rachel that he and Julie have done "everything but", Rachel ties to sabotage Ross's chances at some nookie, and Phoebe must finally deal with her husband THE GAY ICE DANCER.

This week on the pod, we watched "The One Where Heckles Dies" and "Brunch." 

The FRIENDS gang is faced with the death of their downstairs neighbor (and building kook), Mr. Heckles, and while he leaves all this earthly possessions to "the noisy girls upstairs," it isn't what they expected. Chandler must deal with his Heckles-like traits and Phoebe messes with Ross to epic results. 

The HIMYM group meets Ted's parents, where Barney tries to ingratiate himself and push Robin out. In the midst of that, Marshall and Lily deal with their complicated relationship...kind of. And Ted learns some uncomfortable and disconcerting news about his parents.
