Hello, HIMYF fans! We are fast-approaching the end of Season 2 and we are so grateful everyone who has stayed on this crazy trip that is podcasting!

We start with HIMYM "Stuff" and learn that Ted hasn't purchased most of his "stuff" (apparently, papa gets swag), finally find out the origin story of Robin's 5 dogs, and watch Lily and Barney torment their friends with a "play." 

Over at Central Perk, the FRIENDS gang is dealing with Phoebe alluding to Monica's "magic number," Chandler and the roommate from hell, Ross and his Paolo-induced insecurity, and Joey falls down an elevator shaft. Oh, and Monica and Rachel need to learn to buy their own damn condoms!

OMG, we have just 7 more episodes left in Season 2!

This week, we chatted about "The One Where Eddie Moves In" and "Lucky Penny," which both deal with a lot of running--first on BAYWATCH and then Marshall and Barney and the New York City marathon. 

Joey has officially moved out and Chandler has a "spare room," which is all-too-quickly filled by Eddie (played by the fantastic Adam Goldberg--go watch "Dazed and Confused"!); Ross is a complete ass to Monica and invades her apartment, while also annoying Rachel; and Phoebe thinks she's been discovered by a record label. 

Ted and Robin need to make a flight to Chicago but are waylaid by the "butterfly effect" of one penny--which actually had physical catastrophes for several members of the gang.

Welcome back! We are so lucky to have a guest host this week--all the way from Sweden! Katarina was so awesome to stay up late (a 9-hour time difference) to chat with us about "Monday Night Football" and "The One Where Joey Moves Out".

We've celebrated Halloween and Christmas with the HIMYM gang, and now it's time for Ted's favorite holiday: the Super Bowl. And once again, he "Ted's Out" and stresses everyone else out too. But we get some great lines AND the Sensory Deprivator 5000--which should be mass produced!

Joey is finally making money on DOOL and decided it might be time for him to move out. But not before challenging standard social norms and making the rest of us wonder about sharing soap. 

We had a lot of fun this week--which you can tell by the extended length. Katta was a fantastic guest host!

WHOA, this one is a doozy! This week we watched "The One With the Lesbian Wedding" and "How Lily Stole Christmas," and we had LOTS to say.

Ross is reeling from the news that Carol and Susan are getting married, Joey is debuting on DOOL, Monica steps in as the wedding caterer, Phoebe is inhabited by an elderly woman's spirit, and Rachel learns her Mom and Dad might be getting a divorce. This is a major episode and we went deep into the expected reactions this episode would have...and the reality of what really happened.

All Marshall wants for Christmas is Lily's Winter Wonderland, but after Lily hears what Ted called her after she went to SanFran, Christmas is cancelled. We have lots to say about "grinch," and we'd love to get your thoughts!

 This week, our recording day included opening up our listener gift, cooking dinner, watching both shows, and then actually sitting down to record! It was a long and wonderful day!

For the pod, we recapped "The One With Phoebe's Dad" and "Slap Bet."

Phoebe thinks her dad is a tree surgeon living in Burma but soon learns that her mom and grandma have been lying to her. Ross obsesses over Rachel forgiving him. Rachel and Monica throw a "tropical" Christmas party. And Chandler and Joey give the worst gifts ever.

On this week's episode, we watched "Atlantic City" and "The One With the List."

Lily and Marshall are back together and couldn't be happier--until they realize they have to deal with the consequences of canceling a wedding. So, in a stroke of genius, they decide to run off to AC with the gang for a quickie wedding. And everything seems to be pointing to Lily being a bridezilla. 

Ross and Rachel kissed and the friends seem to be on board with it, until Ross can't decide between Rachel and Julie. Chandler suggests a pro/con list and things go majorly downhill from there. 

We found SEVERAL spot-on overlaps in these two episodes and had a real good time discussing them--besides Julie's unfortunate cough.
