Saky is from Japan, but she grew up in the UK and Germany. For university, she came back to Japan. With this unique background and insight, we reflect together on different school systems, values and ways of doing things. Her upbringing may be one influenced why she is confident in taking the road less traveled. She is involved in many organizations and dedicated to improving the environment and gender equality, especially in the tech industry. And maybe some of us crave connection that much that we ignore some big red flags or accept things we would not accept in a safer environment.
