‘Trust is the glue of life, it’s the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It’s the foundational principle that holds all relationships’ Steven Covey
My guest is Geoff Hudson-Searle, we discuss trust, the importance of it in relationships. And as Geoff mentions he thinks this is the biggest enablers of our time. Trust is the foundation upon which the legitimacy of government, public institutions and family, the very cornerstone in which relationships are built and is crucial for maintaining social cohesion.
The dynamics of trust are delicate in important relationships, and the loss of trust can be costly — not only psychologically, but also financially and in terms or work and livelihood. What’s helpful to remember is that trust is an ongoing exchange between people and is not static. Trust can be earned. It can be lost. And it can be regained.
