Sue Ellen Browder says she played a role in hijacking the women's movement. As a young woman working for Cosmopolitan magazine, Browder says she wrote what she describes as “propaganda.” What was the goal? To sell women on the idea that sexual liberation is the path to the single woman’s personal fulfillment.
In her book "Subverted: How I Helped the Sexual Revolution Hijack the Women’s Movement," Browder details what it was like working within the sexual revolution and how she got out.
