The arts are vital in Florida. You’ve heard what cuts to arts funding means for hundreds of theaters, museums and arts groups - and the economies they help support.

Arts and humanities also help Floridians make sense of this state. Nashid Madyun, the executive director of Florida Humanities, first talked with Florida Matters last December.
