How The New Normal Becomes Just… Normal

Richard Deitsch is a sports reporter, and a big part of his job is covering sports media. Who’s calling which games for which network, the business of sports television, and so on. Of course, for a few months, there were no sports on television so there was nothing for him to cover.

Now, they’re back — but with a lot of changes. From no fans on site to, in most cases, no broadcasters on site. Everything is different. It’s a brand new world, and it’s his job to write about it.
