The U.S. justice system is being remade, former prosecutions are being investigated, and key figures are being pardoned. This is being done against the backdrop that weaponization of the justice system allegedly played a role in many of the cases, and it’s possible that, as the investigations continue, many previous convictions could be overturned through pardons.
