For a lot of us, the hopes of our kids returning to school at the end of summer quickly turned into a scramble of us trying to figure out how we were going to deal with kids learning remotely. For many, either schools remain closed, or for safety reasons, the decision was made to keep children at home.

My wife and I are there. She's pregnant, and we didn't feel it was worth the risk to send our kids back yet.
