In today’s culture, there are many people who believe that accepting Christ as their Savior … and following God means they’ll have a blessed life of no problems or worries.  But Pastor Mark Jobe believes that being a true and authentic follower or disciple of Christ means quite the opposite… Every disciple of Christ is called to take up their cross and follow Him.  Even today we need to lay down our personal desires and dreams for the sake of the Cross. And that’s a hard way to live!  But the more we lay down, the more joy we’ll find that we have.  Today’s Bold Steps message was originally given at Moody’s Mission Conference in the Fall of '20 … and it was a powerful and challenging week for everyone involved. Our message today is called, How to be an Authentic Disciple.
