In episode 087 we discussed when it's the right time to hire a business mentor or coach. So now we should probably discuss how to find the right business coach for YOU!

For me, there are about five things I look for when deciding if a business coach is for me:

1. The results the coach has gotten for themself and their clients/students. 
2. The experience they have with the thing I am struggling with or desire. (Little tip though: a coach doesn't need to have achieved the EXACT outcome you desire to help you achieve it. It's great if they have but some of the following points matter more.)
3. Their approach to business.
4. Whether we share similar values.
5. Whether the coach has qualities I could benefit from taking on.
6. How I feel when talking with them.
7. On the free consult call, do they listen or just tell me what to do? Do they guide me in making my own decisions, or make them for me?
8. Do they hop on business trends simply because it's hot right now?
9. Do I feel bullied/pressured into working with them?
