My guest, Mia Lorick, is an award-winning attorney but don’t let the accolades fool you! She’s seen her fair share of hardships and setbacks surviving a gauntlet of difficult career crossroads from microaggressions to inappropriate and hurtful racial “jokes” to lack of maternity leave and more.  Though it’s come with opposition, Mia has pushed to create solutions when coming up against roadblocks so that people coming behind her won’t have to face the same issue.

There is no substitution for being good at what you do.
