Ayo Akindumila, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Council for Relationships. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families looking to cope with stressful transitions. Her approach to therapy is both warm and disarming; she understands and respects the bravery it takes to begin therapy, and is always mindful of how to make her clients feel comfortable throughout the process. Although she has worked with a vast population, Ayo specializes in working with athletes who experience stress associated with either a personal or sport related transitions. While at Texas Tech University, she concentrated on Exercise and Sports Science in undergrad, before pursuing her clinical masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

 

Dr. Adam Edmunds is a licensed psychologist who earned his doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from James Madison University. He specializes in individual and couples therapy for adults. He has been in the mental healthcare field for over 20 years holding roles in healthcare systems, college counseling centers, and school systems, with clients of differing backgrounds and experiences. Adam has a well-developed understanding of healthy and unhealthy psychological and psychiatric functioning across the lifespan. He offers therapy that's supportive yet challenging with a therapeutic style that’s warm, collaborative, and thoughtful with curiosity and some humor. His areas of clinical specialty include racial stress and trauma, depression, anxiety, mood management, grief/loss, men’s issues, transition/adjustment, personal growth, self-criticism/self-esteem, and family and relationship issues. He believes that through therapy people can understand themselves better, heal and grow
