In this episode of Content Marketing 101, I look at how to create content for social media marketing.

 

Social media marketing requires a very different approach and there are three things that you need to look at and keep in mind if you’re trying to create a successful social media marketing strategy.

 

• Keep the Content short. 

People have a short attention span so make sure to keep the content as short as possible while still delivering the highest amount of value.

 

• The algorithm

The algorithm is something you need to be aware of but not something you need to be committed to 100% of the time. Create content that you feel pushes your brand message the best and shows you in the best light and allows the algorithm to do whatever it wants to do.

 

• create content for the platform

Be sure that you create content that is relevant to that platform. It is important that you are communicating to the audience on that platform in a way that they are used to.
