Critic Reviews:
"A great gorgeous whirlwind of a novel, boundless in its imagination. You will be swept away." (Justin Cronin, New York Times bestselling author of The Passage)
"Baggott's highly anticipated postapocalyptic horror novel...is a fascinating mix of stark, oppressive authoritarianism and grotesque anarchy...Baggott mixes brutality, occasional wry humor, and strong dialogue into an exemplar of the subgenre." (Publisher's Weekly, starred review)
"From the first page on, there are no brakes on this book. It's nearly impossible to stop reading as Baggott delves fearlessly into a grotesque and fascinating future populated by strangely endearing victims (and perpetrators) of a wholly unique apocalypse. And trust me, PURE packs one hell of an apocalypse." (Daniel H. Wilson, New York Times bestselling author of Robopocalypse)

teen dystopia
I have recently been taking some chances and buying audiobooks I have not already read as a paperback. This is one of them, I did try the sample and it was an intriguing story that came to me in a short blast. Both the Husband and I have listened to it and found it a good listen.
loved it
I loved every second of this book. Just didnt want to reach the end!! Will bë watching out for book two. Hurry!!
sci-fi apocalypse
The idea of a dome is not new. Arthur C Clarke's "The City and The stars" comes to mind. This however is a different way of using it. Great concept, almost visual in its descriptions and a striking storyline. Please hurry up with book 2 Julianna!
Interesting ideas but the plot falls a bit flat.
Three stars for interesting ideas and the world building effort. Also there were a few lovely contemplative moments and the writing style was enjoyable. The plot was a bit predictable and a couple of the voices of the narrators were a bit irritating. The idea of fusion of humans with objects, animals, other humans, etc., was very interesting but so far-fetched at moments that it was plain unbelievable.
Loved it
Loved this, I'm not a big reader of this genre I warn you buttt I loved it. Details and back stories great, could be a little too pat in places but I was engaged and eagerly awaiting the next book.
