What did you love best about Friday Night Fun?

I really love Friday Night Fun, primarily because it's good storytelling. I like that it's not stupid or unbelievable like most of the other erotica out there. They develop a character before they go for it. It's really fun to listen to the stories, I'm just patiently awaiting for more. I like it even better than 50 Shades of Grey, which is much more one dimensional. The Friday Night Fun erotic stories delve into many more topics. These stories are hot but smart as well.

What did you like best about this story?

Great story telling, each one seems about the right length to me. Some really hot and sexy scenarios!

Which character as performed by the narrators was your favorite?

I liked all the narrators, but my favorite is Abra she has a great sexy voice, and great pacing. She really is the best in this genre.

I love the cover for this book!

Jeannie Lin does a fantastic job ensconcing the reader into a world rich with culture, traditions, and insight to the political play of the time while using the romance story as a vehicle. That being said, the romance needed more oomph, in my opinion. With romance novels it is almost a given that the main characters will have a HEA so the road the characters take to get there is where I love to see the build-up of the romance. The tension, the angst, the progressive peeling away to understand and get to know one another is what drives the romance past boy meets girl to boy/girl fall in love. The characters in this book skirt around their attraction which isn't a bad thing, however there really isn't much build-up until more than half way through the book. I guess it boils down to what you enjoy in a romance novel. I'm a person who enjoys novels that are character driven with the situations and places being things that set the stage for the romance. If you are an individual who enjoys more of the descriptive details of objects and places with the characters placed to help the story, then this book will be the right one for you.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the narration because I was so used to listening to HR novels that are read with a British accent. Lam does a great job with this narration using a British accent while she read the story and switching to a softer Chinese accent when reading the dialogues. If you like BBW and the forbidden, you're going to love Tina. The writing is superb, as always. Selena Kitt has a way with words! The narration is good. The characters are compelling. I enjoyed Bonds of Trust so much i did not hesitate to purchase this book. Once again i found an excellent story with lots of hot sex and love. Lynda Aicher has such a great way of telling her story's. They are exciting story's that keep you wanting more She show's that BDSM described in this style is they way it should be. Emily Caldwell done a wonderful job once again narrating. Looking forward to the next book :)

Is there anything you would change about this book?

yes, I would have used more of our hero's military bad boy attitude. They made our hero very tender, so if that is what you like, this ones for you.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

this was not a BDSM, but much more of a core romance listen. Yes, it did describe a few BDSM scenes, but no way is this an erotic story, which was why it was in Romance.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

this is not my kind of reader. too slow and her male voices need to be a bit deeper and with more emotions. If you are only going to pick one of these books to try. Pick # 3 as the heroine is smart and not weak.

Yes, it's a hot, intense, romantic listen. If I want a "sexy" listen then I'd choose this one.
