It's been a long time since I've written a product review and I'm writing it for this gem of a story. Happiness and Honey is a pithy tale reminiscent of the Tao of Pooh. Its written like a children's book yet its clear from the very beginning its themes know no age limits. Clever word play takes the reader into the life of the busy bee and never does it preach or condemn. It simply speaks to our inner child and reminds that child that dreams are always worth pursuing. Inspirational and timely, in my case -- exactly what I needed to read and will always strike a chord with its reader.

A beautiful short story that's accessible to anyone

Such a huge fan of Gavin Whyte's books. I need to read this one again. I read it six months ago for the first time on a forty-minute bus journey. I'm a fast reader and processor yes, but with only 40 or so pages it's a beautiful short story that's accessible to anyone. And by anyone I mean everyone. No matter what issue you may be struggling with, no matter how small or seemingly large, this is an easy and enjoyable read that inspires you to believe in yourself and to achieve your dreams. I recommended it to my friend who has three daughters between eight and twelve. And to my seventy-year old life-coach friend. Forget labels. This is a book for everyone. Because everyone has issues and problems at some point in life or they know someone who's going through it. Books like this really do help and it's especially good that you get so much from a quick read. If you're after a Christmas gift that will delight and inspire... Happiness and Honey will do the trick :)
