On this episode: 

I am Virgo so the journey I chose in this body was predestined to be perfectionist 

I grew up raised as a perfectionist, to be put together, to perform 

My mom was a Polish immigrant 

I was in a fitness industry which instilled in me what sexy should look like 

I thought if I just have the perfect body then I will be happy and get all the things I wanted 

My breaking point (one of many) was when I found myself getting ready for another fitness show and I binged on peanut butter and Oreos and I asked myself:Who am I doing this for?I wanted to build the body I wanted but this way in a holistic and nurturing way 

I looked at my patterns of abuse - abusing myself, my body, and my abusive partners 

I gave myself permission to explore my childhood traumas 

I lost parts of me that were soft and feminine I had to learn and rewrite what feminine really means 

Women need men 

We are detached from feminine because we don’t have healthy masculine in our lives 

 

To heal past traumas:

We need to drop into our hearts and allow ourselves to trust 

We get to complete the traumatic response we experienced in the past 

Embody the emotions that you are resisting, feel them

 

To attract the healthy masculine man:Look at your own inner masculine

Look at what is your way to look at men?How can you open up the space for men to be your hero?How can you give him space to be the provider?

 

Last thing that’s on my heart:

There is so much safety in softness.
