Elle serait certainement morte, la pauvre vieille, si le petit Tom (petit homme) n'était pas passé par là...

I am not a great French speaker, but I did get into this book and even managed to enjoy it.

Very engaging!

This is a charming and touching story. Deftly told, with unusual characters and a lot of humor. There is much slang, but it flows well, so I didn't want to stop to look up words. I can't recommend it enough!

Great story!

I like the unique perspective on family in this story. Dr. Grind and Izzy are two memorable characters. I want to follow them into their upcoming years.

I never thought this book would end, and when it did I did not want it to. I felt as if I came to know each character, as if I were reading about my family. A very good read. Glad that I bought it.

The concept; the characters, and the deceit at the end kept me spellbound throughout. Dying to know what the next clue bring.

I enjoyed reading the book

I enjoyed reading the book. It really reminded me one of the best times of my life, when I was traveling the world and every morning visited another coffee spot. The thoughts that came to my mind in those times are very similar to the topics the author discusses about in the book. It's like coffee makes you focus on specific subjects.

Overall, the book was refreshing and easy to read. I gave it 5 stars.
