Publisher's Summary:
At once disarmingly humorous and deeply thought-provoking, Perfect Little World is a novel about how the best families are the ones we make for ourselves.
Isabelle Pool, recently graduated from high school and pregnant with her art teacher's baby, is just about out of options. Her mother is dead, her father's a drunk and the art teacher is too much of a head case to help raise the child. Izzy knows she can be a good mother, but without any money or prospects, she's left searching.
So when she's offered a space in The Infinite Family Project - a utopian ideal funded by an eccentric billionaire - she accepts. Housed in a spacious compound in Tennessee, she joins nine other couples, all with children the same age as her newborn son, to raise their children as one extended family, in their own perfect little world. But can this experiment really work - or is it destined to go horribly wrong?
Critic Reviews:
"Stellar.... Compelling.... Realer and wiser and sadder and eventually reassuring about human nature than dozens of other novels." (Booklist)
"[A] moving novel about love, parenting, and the families we create for ourselves." (Library Journal)

A perfect little novel
Once again Mr Wilson brings us a wonderfully funny and thought provoking story. Social experiments be damned, the human heart responds to love.
Great story!
I like the unique perspective on family in this story. Dr. Grind and Izzy are two memorable characters. I want to follow them into their upcoming years.

Enjoyed this book and concepts for how a family could look. Kept rooting for Izzy and the family to "make it".
Wow
I never thought this book would end, and when it did I did not want it to. I felt as if I came to know each character, as if I were reading about my family. A very good read. Glad that I bought it.
Mesmerizing read
The concept; the characters, and the deceit at the end kept me spellbound throughout. Dying to know what the next clue bring.
