Smooth story to listen but ended rather quickly

Blue was one hard twisted mf and Hannah was the epitome of anti heroine but this dark love story was definitely worth listening. I was suprised when I realized the story was coming to an end. It felt a bit rushed but then prolonging the story would have made it more boring. Maybe author writes too many books a year and could improve quality by putting more time for them. If couple has big misunderstandings in the past and years of resentment between them you dont expect these problems to be solved over a night. Given how complex the beginning of the story was I just expected more complexity from the end.
A good story....I loved Blue and Lola.

This is my first audiobook, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I would have liked the male to have been voiced by a male. I did like the story.

I loved the way Blue was so protective of Lola even though he wanted to punish her for what happened in the past.

I liked the way she changed voices, but I still would have enjoyed a male voice for Blue.

I used a Kindle Fire and had to turn the volume up all the way to hear it and even then it was hard to hear in the car. Maybe there is a way to use the car speakers, but I don't know.

I could tell the difference between most of the major characters, but sometimes it was a little difficult.

Rough Love Story / interesting narration

Depends on the friend. This is definitely not for the faint of heart. It is a rough, harsh love story that is not easy to take in but has a lot of heart.
What did you like best about this story?
The story is wrapped in a cruel package and bleak surroundings but is ultimately about forgiveness of oneself and of others. It is about finding out about your self worth even when everything seems bleak. Lola, the main character, had such a hard life and yet she maintained some humanity. To see her growth and change in this book was compelling. Also Blue, the hero of the story, was quite enigmatic and his motives took some time to decipher. He was a character that I always wanted to find out more about.
