I liked this story for most of the book, with no concerns, but at the end, it felt like Ms. Sanders lost focus. I didn't understand why Cassie reacted so vehemently to Luke telling her about his plans. Her, and the rest of the businesses on the boardwalk, never had an issue with a hotel being built on the island, their issue was that Luke's father was trying to buy up the property that their businesses were already on. Additionally, Luke says that he has no idea how his father found out about the plans even though he very specifically sent out press releases to several media outlets "up and down the coast" to make his plans of building a hotel public as a means to cut the legs out from under his father. There were also several times when someone would bring up a point in conversation that would be like waving a red flag in front of any normal person, but the characters seems to be oddly oblivious.

Love the fact that both characters are head strong

Really liked the book, both characters were strong instead of the damsel in distress or lost in life I have seen in other books.

Very good story line and entertaining

Loved it..

Well, it started off with Cassie running through the forest. She was only 7 or 8 so that had to be scary. It was a very long prologue but it gave you all kinds of information about the child, and immediately you wanted Cassies father and step-mother in jail. What she went through with her father and step-mother was just horrendous. Maybe they should be dead instead on in jail.

I must tell you there was no OMG moments in this book but I really, really enjoyed it. It was a terrific love story about Luke and Cassey without a ton of angst and misunderstandings. Oh, there was a big misunderstanding at one time BUT they talked about it when it started and straightened it out immediately. Truly remarkable in a romance novel. Most authors want to drag a misunderstanding and the angst for the entire book so it was very nice having something a little different.

Cassey was a bar and grill owner and if it were a real place Id love to go there. Lukes father wanted Casseys property and even though Luke was sent there to talk Cassey into selling he started having feelings for her and Luke changed sides. Jeffery, Lukes father was a real jerk until near the end. Sophia, Lukes mother was a sweet as she could be. As was Casseys brothers, Marcus, Cole and Roman.

The word damn was used 5 or 6 times but other than that there was no swearing. There was so much sexual tension it was amazing. And there were 5 or 6 sex scenes.

As to the narration: Roy Samuelson did a great job on the voices. The men really sounded sexy and the women sounded like women BUT he has no emotion. He never laughed, cried, whispered, murmured, nothing.

Terrible, out of character ending

I loved the first 80% of the story - couldn't put it down. The twist at the end is the most disappointing ever! It ruined the story for me.

Loved it!

This is one of my books I loved to reread. I read the paperback first. I couldn't put it down until I finish it. I was interested in the audio version & was not disappointed. The narration was believably on point. I absolutely love the family & they're show of affection for one another. I'm following this series all the way to the end!! Samantha Chase is now on my favorite author list

The characters were likeable and seemed real (very relatable). I would have definitely bought the series, if the sex was more subdued. I already know what a man and woman can do together enjoyably in bed without it being read to me.

Great voices. I simply loved the duality. I get tired of poorly portrayed male/female voices.

Amazing story line

Yet again Samantha has grab my attention with this story line. It follows on from The Montgomery Brothers tales with ease. Both family tales are really sensual and at times bring me to tears but in a good way. Thank you Samantha you're books are one of my favourite reads aswell as the audible versions that I have.

happy story

Story was good but there wasn't a lot of happenings in the book. Story was a classic story of lady meeting guy of her dreams with the happy ending. Wording was a little gushy for my tastes.

Another winner from Christine Rimmer! Loved the juxtaposition of the hero and heroine, each knowing what they wanted at different times, and how they came together for their happily ever after...(It is a prince and princess story after all!)

Loved how brave she had to be to tell him about her past, and how supportive and non-judgmental he was about it. She loved him through his issues with his deceased wife! Great couple! Great read!

Can't wait for the next book!

Prince's Cinderella

Christine Rimmer has done it again with the Bravo Calabretti clan. Who can dislike the Prince and his family, surely not Leni, She fights a good fight, So sit back and read the story about a Prince and his long awaited fairy tale. Couldn't put it down till it was done.

Wasn't the best, but definitely not the worst. Easy, light story whittle angst. A decent love story. Interactions with family would have provided more context. Story was a bit shallow.

A good friends-to-more/long-time-coming story

A good friends-to-more/long-time-coming story. I've enjoyed the whole series and this was mostly a good addition, although I spent most of this book irritated with all of the characters.

The reason it's my least favorite in the series and I couldn't rate it higher: (Slight spoiler)

Spoiler: The character falling-off the wagon and the 'oh well, whatever' way it's handled by all of the characters (including the one who's hard work and sobriety was just thrown out the window) completely pulled me out of the story. Having significant others struggle with this and having my own struggles with an addiction, tossing out years of sobriety is huge, and it should be hard to watch someone (you actually care about) fall like that. I'm not saying make it a sob-story, but in this book, it's just a convenient plot point that seemed like no big deal, a good thing for most of the characters, even. Like really- just a drunk night out, let's film everything, let's get everything we want from her, woo-hoo! It's actually kind of sad/twisted if you think about it too hard. (Or is that the point? Don't think too hard?)

I get that these are mostly light-hearted books (not that there aren't some heavy plot points along the way), but maybe don't touch such a dark issue if it's just going to be handled quite so flippantly?

Okay, but not as good as the others.....

I've been reading The Kelly Brothers since the beginning and while I was sad to see it end, I was looking forward to reading Gideon's book. It contains some of the same magic and romance that made me fall in love with The Kelly Brothers. I love how Gideon is so determined to help Sarah to get her life together. I thought the little subplot about the Golden Globe award was really sweet.

Unfortunately, there were certain aspects of this book that kept me from giving it higher than three stars. While I appreciated Gideon's determination to win Sarah over, there were a few things that he did that were completely over the line, things that would make it completely hard for me to trust someone, especially someone that I was in love with. I know he apologized and admitted that what he did was wrong, but there are some things that just can't be fixed by a simple apology.

As great as the first 6!

Who doesn't love a good Danvers novel?

I've been a fan of this series from day one and 7 books later, I'm still enjoying the series. This is the story of Gwen. You probably remember her from the last book. She had a brief fling with Mac but obviously, things didn't work out between them. Mac's best friend Dom has had the hots for Gwen but when she hooked up with Mac, well what could he do? She was off limits. Oh did I mention Mac's best friend Dom lives next door to Gwen too? I'll just say, after a complicated mess the couple gets together and lives happily ever after.

I laughed so hard

Towards the end I was irritated with Gwen beyond belief... Her insecurities and low self esteem reply grated on my nerves....

Matty and Megan are the funniest things ever.. those 2 girls made me laugh so hard that I had to have looked foolish to anyone around me... I loved them.. the really stole the show... poor Bastard (inside joke)... he'll have an issue for sure...

I absolutely love the Whiskey Creek series and this one did not disappoint! Phoenix is one tough heroine. This book will make you laugh and cry! Riley is an awesome Dad and Jake, their son is an admirable teenage boy who's adorable!

Better than the last book Whiskey Creek series

I always liked Riley and was looking forward to his story in this Whiskey Creek series. Young but true love prevails. Loved Phoenix and and her outlook on life. A good read.

Repetitive

The story could have been cut in half without the constant "woe is me", "I'm not worthy", mantra. It just kept going on & on & ON! Seriously, why do people think this is entertaining? BN has had some great books and I've enjoyed many, but I think her creativity has been tapped out. She is officially in the no-imagination/cookie-cutter/formulaic authors.

As Ethan and Chloe reunite, rekindle and reassure one other of their undying love for each other there's a lot of passion, pouring out of feelings and promises for their future together. But, as deep and desperate as their love is, there are still insecurities as Ethan's tortured by his guilt and haunted by what his twisted Brother Brandon has gotten away with and vows to stop him from succeeding with his plans for election. However, Chloe doesn't want to stir up things and begs him not to do anything and, although Ethan will do anything for Chloe, he can't let the past crimes stay unpunished and so starts to plot his revenge..... a revenge that will ultimately backfire leaving death, destruction and despair in its wake.

There was a whole lot of make-up sex (probably way too much), dirty talk and beautiful words of love but there's also tension and drama when Ethan starts his campaign to ruin his Brother against Chloe's desperate tear-filled pleas to just let it go. Which leads to twists, revelations and damage control that will include the Las Vegas Mafia, the F.B.I., his vicious Mother spouting venomous words, blood and tears.

Worth a credit? It was an enjoyable bitter-sweet love story that put them on an emotional and painful ride as demons from the past were resurrected but in this book they stuck together and faced each crisis knowing that they faced them together. Dual POV, good narration, a couple of likeable secondary characters and a Hero and Heroine who went through Hell to get their HEA. My only complaint is one minute she's a redhead then later on a strawberry blonde? (and I think this happened in book 2 too). I thought this was a creditworthy finale but book 4 comes out next year!

Love this series

This is an excellent series. And I can't wait for the 4th book. But one of the best things about it is Tess Chambers' performance. She is superb.

VERY ENJOYABLE STORY & A GREAT START TO NEW SERIES

Welcome to an all new Cage Fighter series and it certainly kicks off with a very entertaining first book that throws a lot into a good storyline. Drop dead gorgeous Cole needs a miracle and that's just what he gets when he's sent to rehab with the beautiful Physio Katie but it wasn't just his broken body that she eventually healed, it was his whole way of life..... but it came at a very high price.

The listen starts off well describing Cole's victory and tragic downfall, attraction and chemistry are then added to the mix which ups the listen, Katie's broken spirit, terrible past, mental and physical scars are soon revealed and, by this time, you're hooked into a good listen with likeable characters. Then the ever increasing looming danger in the present slowly slips in created by her mad, bad and scary ex which mixes things up, added to that are the inner turmoils of "should I say I love you", then a secret is overheard which leads to broken trust, drama, heartache and pain. This leaves you with a listen that has a tender romance as a physically broken Cole tries to heal a mentally broken Katie and vice versa, there's some sweet/tender and also a frantic sex scene and it concludes in a pulse-pounding confrontation of tears, bloodshed, death and heartache. But thankfully the Epilogue will leave you with a smile on your face.

Worth a credit? Dual POV's, good narration, a bit of unrealistic healing time but hey ho this is fiction after all right!, nevertheless a very captivating story and YES it would've been worth a credit but my under $10 rule applied so I just bought it saving the credit for a pricier but maybe not as enjoyable listen. So, an entertaining and enjoyable listen at a bargain price.

As usual, this is another winning book full of happiness, tears and most of all love. I can't wait for the next book in this series

What was the story? Was there a story?

If you could sum up And I Love Her in three words, what would they be?

Too Much Sex! At least half the story were sex scenes. If that's what you want then this is for you. I'm still trying to figure out if there really was a story beyond great sex.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I like stories that go beyond the bedroom. Call me a prude but I'd prefer the descriptions end at the bedroom door. That said I'll return to my favorites, Debbie Maccomber, Robyn Carr, and Susan Mallary.

What does Christina Traister bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed Christina's reading. Listening to a book vs reading allows me to experience a lot more emotion.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, quit reading the series. This one was a waste of time.

This is the 4th book in the series. After reading the 3rd book, I posted a review which said I was done with this series and Marie Force. I should have listened to myself. I'm really done with both this time. Unfortunately I fell in love with the Abott family and the town. I would really like to finish the series, but .... as already stated way too much sex for me. In the prior three books there was a semblance of a plot. Not so here. I was hoping I'd like Megan (the lead female character) after the listening to the book. But nope, still don't like her.

Never give up.

Really enyed the novel. The bantering and interaction was great. The reaction of Megan was well written.
