not as good as some of her other work but as always well written and good story. molly mcadams doesn't disappoint.

Don't Let This Go!

Tragedy, loss, friendship and love. This is one hell of an emotional story - much of it focused on the loooong journey the couple takes to accept the reality of a relationship. Letting Go is my first Molly McAdams book and now I understand all her fans. She creates imperfect, heartfelt characters that readers can't help but love. I'm a new fan!

I loved book 1-2. This was much darker and intense. Fantastic story. The voices were fantastic perfect for each character.

Yes! The narration was great and the story was dark and suspenseful. If you've read the earlier books in this series, you won't want to meet this one. It has a darker feel than the earlier books but Van Dyken never fails to deliver a compelling story with captivating characters.

Sugary Sweet & Simple

This is a sweet -maybe too sweet- love story. The characters were young, naive but cute. The writing however was basic and the story not fully fleshed out. Missed potential that could've been helped in editing. Narration good.

CHEESE FEST!

What disappointed you about Remembering You?

Good Lord, can this story be anymore cheesy? They like the same restaurant and the same Mexican pizza? Give me a break! I was really hoping for a deep love story across the years but this was so unbelievable - I rolled my eyes so hard I saw the back of my skull.

Just ok

I really didn't get through the whole thing! Just "meh..." I fell asleep about ten minutes in, must get an award for most repeat listens!

I Expected Too Much of Pelican Point....

Pelican Point seemed like an exciting book for me to listen to, as it takes place on the rural coast of Maine a place I know very well.

The beginning was strong, but after that it just seem to muddle along. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't 'blow me away.' It was too descriptive and detailed. Everything was repeated, from the condition of the lighthouse to the trees, the water, the land, etc.

I won this book in a contest but have not been able to finish it (I'm about halfway through) and putting it aside for now. I will not pursue this series nor would I recommend it as anything but average.

I have mad respect for authors, as it takes courage and self-discipline to write and put your product out to the public. So, Donna Kaufman, I appreciate your effort. This book just didn't do it for me.

Couldn't get past the first couple chapters

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The author spent a whole chapter with the heroine in a fog, taking in the hero's extraordinary great looks and about 5 minutes on his deep baritone voice. When the hero spoke tho, he sounded like a teenage cartoon character. I realize it's hard for women to do men's voices but I think my biggest criticism is that it was all just too boring to listen to. People who love, love, romance novels would probably like this book but for me there was too much of the heroine being fainting and delicate and swooning over the hero's good looks. I just couldn't get past the first 4 chapters and had to return the book.

Has Pelican Point turned you off from other books in this genre?

A Nice Novel for "in Between" the turbulent ones

This is an enjoyable audiobook. It took me a bit to get used to Aletha George's voice, as it's different, but overall I thought her performance was good. Now, regarding Nelson Hobbs, well I freaken love his gorgeous voice, but he only performs for the epilogue at the end.

This story is a familiar one. A beautiful young woman (Hayley Grace), who recently graduated, has a chance encounter with a handsome, self-made millionaire (Daniel Stark) that sets them on a course of no return in the journey toward love. Even though it was a familiar story, I did enjoy the variations that strayed away from the typical. For example, it seems like so many heroines in these type of novels don't realize their own beauty and ALWAYS overly admire the beauty and lack of inhibitions of a best friend (who always seem to have green eyes). Well, Hayley does have a best friend with green eyes, who is beautiful, but I did like that Hayley does seem to have a good handle on her own beauty as well, and didn't overly dramatize the best friend's qualities as they were both pretty equal. Plus, add to that Ian,a gay model who is also a bestie, and you have a very fun trio of friends who serve as Hayley's support group.

Hayley's not shy when it comes to men, in fact, she's used to dropping them like flies when it's necessary. She's not one to commit, or form emotional attachments until Daniel Stark, that is. Oh Daniel Stark, he's tall, blonde, has tattoos, gorgeous body, and well even his scars are appealing. [on a side note, I should add that the cover model doesn't really match with the hero described in the book. The cover model seems to have darker features than the book hero--that was weird, but hey whose complaining?] Daniel's also somewhat of a workaholic with a temper who Hayley likes to peg as having a "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide" temperament. Oh my goodness, that is one thing that I LOVED about their relationship, both Haley and Daniel are funny! They flirt like crazy and share awesome banter between the two. It's evident that Hayley's witty humor really does something to Daniel...perhaps she inspires the unexpected.

So, take a trip on this Daniel and Hayley ride. I enjoyed it. I think this is a good book to read/listen when you're in between more turbulent, angsty reads. Both Daniel and Hayley definitely have things to work out in their relationship, but everything is pretty low on the angst part.

Jaw Dropping!!!

HM Ward is amazing. This book is jaw dropping and it will leave you breathless. Let me just say I hope this series never ends. Sean and Trystan are my favorite characters Holly writes about. I got the ARC and when I read it I just stared at the screen when it ended, I was numb. Hours later and I was still mind blown. Not many books have left me speechless, but Holly did.

I don't want to say much more because I don't want to spoil it for you. Just trust me when I say you will not regret buying this book. I would recommend if you are new to this series that you start with the first book. Just be warned that you will be hooked and become a FERROFANATIC like me!!!!!!

Great Series!

Arrangement 15 did not let me down!!! It was awesome! I have followed H.M Ward from the beginning and this series keeps getting better and better. It is worth sending a few bucks a month to read. When you think there may be a happy ending for the main characters, they get hit with another eye opening issue. I love it! Keep them coming H.M. Ward.

HOLY H.E. DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS... Did that really just happen???

Book 15 is nothing like any other. When Holly said she wasn't holding back on the this she wasn't kidding. Anything I thought I figured out in the last 14 was just thrown up in the air, minus who is after Avery. We did get a little bit of an insight on that the question is is the insight correct? Since Holly doesn't come right out and say it. Avery and Sean are really over in this book, doesn't mean they will not find their way back to each other but someone new is stepping up and showing Avery how a true man treats a woman not some dark damaged a$$ like Sean. This part made me past happy but many people weren't oh so happy to read this. You will see many of the same people in this book Ms. Black however is not active but we meet "Bob".. I really want to learn on "Bob" lets hope AR16 keeps up this same story line and shocking information. Please know this is a 100% true H.M. Ward ending and will leave you on the million foot cliff without a rope.. There is just so much to review about this book but I refuse to give spoilers, so lets just leave it at this is one awesome installment by one awesome author, and if you haven't read it yet you need to. If you haven't read any of these installments you must!!

It wouldn't be an H.M. Ward book if you didn't occasionally want to throw your tablet. :-)

enjoyable book

really enjoyed this book. kept me hanging for more. got upset with characters at one point but happy with the ending.

Unexpectedly Good

This was one of my girl Sasha's choices and I approached it with caution, which means I made sure not to get stuck with this book being the only one I had downloaded on my I-Pod. Oh well as it turned out I didn't need to worry about it; this audio was just fine. An older woman, her son in college, and the son's suitmate at the university in Atlanta. My dad tells me that it's an update on a 1983 movie 'Class' if you've seen it you decide. There are some facets that are always in books or films with this theme; all the should I, shouldn't I back and forth particularly when it's one of those older woman younger man relationships that freak straight women out so bad. There were some great characters in this book; the best is Victoria Wilde, Jillian's wild, oversexed bestie. The Worst is Rob, Brian's friend and Jillian's son; a seriously unlikable character, who i hope will be more or less written out of this series. This book is set in 2011 and I had hopes that there would be some girl-on-girl contact between Jillian and Victoria; sadly there wasn't but I have hopes for book two. Evidently there are no bisexuals or sexually experimental girls in romantic fiction. Looking forward strongly to the next installment in this series; recommend this one strongly.

Funny Unconventional Light Romance

What made the experience of listening to Friends with Partial Benefits the most enjoyable?

It was funny. Expect it to have some really awkward nude scenes that are going to have you blushing and giggling/ laughing like a crazy person. Well at least it did for me!

This story also covers a pretty wide range of, let's say, unconventional (some people may find tabooish) sexual situations and relationships. If you really aren't comfortable with sex scenes or well the above statement you may want to skip this one.

Light, funny, pageturner

What was one of the most memorable moments of Summers' Love?

Any of Stu's interactions with his 'Holy Ghostwriter', especially when she comes to Beaufort to talk some sense into him!

What about Linda Cees performance did you like?

She was great with the dry humor and caustic comments. :)

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Stu had some major strikes against him, but the author did a great job bringing him to the place where he finally got it right. And the things Kate goes through are so close to reality, but with such a funny spin. The question asked for a moment, but i think my favorite was the character arcs.
