Social media can be a boost to your mood and your success. But, all too often people can become a slave to it rather than have it be a resource to them. It can have a detrimental effect to productivity, mood and self-esteem.
In this episode I am in conversation with business coach Susan Tomlinson who started off a sceptic, moved onto become a fan and then found herself being controlled by it until she decided to take things in hand.
So how to tame the tiger that is social media? If you find yourself scrolling mindlessly and finding that you have lost time you couldn't afford, or you intended to cheer yourself up and you ended up wanting to self-medicate with a slice of cake or three, then the strategies shared here will certainly help you.
Do listen right the way through - there is a powerful question towards the end that everyone needs to ask themselves to avoid being sucked into a scrolling binge. And there is also something about the unexpected gift that rationalising your social media can give you.
