If ever there is a day filled with hopeful expectations of perfection, it's your wedding day. We grow up dreaming and planning for the day when we walk down the aisle and ride off into the sunset. But somewhere between this fantasy and reality, things unravel.
What is supposed to be a day centered around celebrating love and commitment all too often becomes a source of conflict - especially for the bride. That's why our guest and bride-to-be Lisa Torres created a two-page letter for her bridesmaids - asking them to be a part of the special occasion, as well as outlining their financial and time obligations if they said yes.
Now nearly 7 million views later, Lisa's idea has created quite the stir, as well as an opportunity to ask some tough questions about weddings, brides, families and money.
