Heath has been in private practice mental health since 1993 and holds a dual Ph.D. in Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology.
He has consulted across the United States on designing and operating psychiatric units and worked with a medical team providing Quality Assurance (QA) surveys and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) training.
He spent over a decade training first responders, military, and law enforcement on crisis & hostage negotiation techniques and best practices.
He currently manages a boutique private practice clinic supervising a team of clinicians and providing coaching services in the U.S. and abroad in the areas of business, relationships, mindfulness, and mindset.
He hosts the weekly psychology self-help podcast, TherapyBites, now on its 82nd episode. He hosts The Question-in-Question jeopardy-style psychological gameshow podcast and Executive Espresso: Caffeinated Conversations, both of which air twice weekly and livestream via the Twitter/X platform @therapy_bites and on Youtube @therapybites.
His work with coaching clients is built on a cognitive & existential psychology model of identifying schemas (ways of thinking) that tend to sabotage chances of success in business, relationships, and life. He then collaborates with clients on readily actionable techniques to restructure with more adaptable, success-promoting programming.
