Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued with our weekly theme of “Killing Sin” with a discussion about how to partner with God in daily struggles, such as reviving our prayer life and decluttering. Dr. Bill (William) Thrasher joined us to discuss how to intentionally involve God in eradicating sin from our lives through prayer in the Spirit. Dr. Thrasher has served on the Moody Bible Institute faculty since 1980 and is currently the Lead Professor in the Master’s Program in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship. He is also a frequent speaker and has authored several books, including “How to Resurrect a Dead Prayer Life.” We then had Kathi Lipp join us to discuss how to break through the shame of living in clutter with God. Kathi is an author, speaker, blogger, and podcast host of Clutter Free Academy, the Podcast. Kathi is an expert and well-respected on the topics of overcoming clutter from a biblical perspective. She has also authored several books, including “Clutter Free”. Then, Ethan Forhertz joined us to provide an update on the need for support in Central Texas following one of the most severe flooding events in the U.S. during the Fourth of July weekend. Ethan is the National Spokesperson for Convoy of Hope, a Disaster Relief Ministry that serves people who are impoverished, hungry, and hurting. Ethan and the ministry are currently in the Texas Hill Country serving those in need. You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
