300 million tons of plastic is produced each year worldwide. Coming into contact with plastic is unavoidable, so we must do our part to limit how much is produced each year through recycling.

Plastic isn’t the only thing that’s ending up in our landfills. So many recyclable products are thrown away every year, which has caused many local communities to increase their recycling initiatives. However, not everything we think belongs in the recycling bin belongs there.
