Hey fellow loneliness destroyer, text me!
Have you ever watched a friend get something that you so badly wanted yourself? Worse yet, have you competed against a friend, and end up being put in the awkward position of wanting to celebrate their success and achievement, while grieving the fact that you cannot celebrate for yourself? A tricky situation indeed, and one that I was thrilled to unpack with my firsthand experience with my new friend Candace Collins (@cannace on IG) ! We literally met and became friends the day we both auditioned and competed against one another for a gig!
I think you will find this conversation intriguing, and uplifting as well, as we challenge one another to have the hard conversation, grieve AND celebrate at the same time, and never let someone else's success deter us from chasing down our own.
Go give Candace a follow on instagram @cannace , where you will find her speaking candidly about Jesus, mental health, finances, and the ups and downs of motherhood (which include insanely adorable videos and pics of her daughter Lincoln!)
