  • Episode #6: Working in Female vs. Male Dominated Professions

Hosts Megan and Ayesha both work in very different professional environments; Megan is a Registered Nurse in a female-dominated career, and Ayesha works as an Athletic Therapist with mostly males in the industry of athletics. In this episode, they explore what it’s like to be women in the workplace.

While one might think they would have very different experiences, this episode highlights the fact that, as women, we are very much together in this fight for equality and are often impacted in similar ways. For Megan and Ayesha, that’s what makes female friendships so powerful; the mutual understanding of what we all experience each day!

About How Unladylike Podcast

From the publisher's feed

Welcome to How Unladylike! A podcast for women on a path to bettering themselves; personally, professionally, and everything in between! Have you ever felt like, as a woman, that everyone else seems to have all the answers and you feel out of the loop? Well, I'm here to tell you that I don’t have all the answers either, but I would love to help you find them. My goal is to cultivate a space where all your burning questions about what it means to be a woman in this world can be safely asked and thoroughly explored. Not only that but I will introduce you to other women, just like you, who are figuring life out as they go and absolutely crushing their goals at the same time. I want this podcast to give you proof of what’s possible for your own life, and help you achieve it. I promise not to shy away from any topics, no matter how taboo, or “unladylike”.
