Even as inflation eases, household energy bills for most Australians continue to rise.

With the cost-of-living crystallising as a key issue for voters this federal election, Labor has unveiled a plan to cut the cost of household batteries by 30 per cent, while the Coalition is focusing on a gas reserve which they say will help lower prices.
