In today's follow up episode, Adrienne guides you in a Yoga Nidra Meditation inspired my Mia's Yoga origin story focused on cultivating gratitude, body positivity, and inner peace.
This guided yoga and Nidra meditation experience aims to uplift your spirit and foster a deeper connection with your body.
According to Wikipedia, "Body positivity is a social movement that promotes a positive view of all bodies, regardless of size, shape, skin tone, gender, and physical abilities... Proponents focus on the appreciation of the functionality and health of the human body, instead of its physiological appearance."
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation technique renowned for inducing deep relaxation while maintaining awareness. During this session, you'll be guided into a state of profound tranquility, enabling you to explore feelings of gratitude and self-love.
During this meditation, Adrienne will lead you through a series of visualizations, mindfulness exercises, and affirmations designed to foster a positive relationship with your body. Through this practice, you'll uncover a renewed appreciation for your body's strengths, abilities, and innate beauty.
Settle in and get comfy . Immerse yourself in this guided Nidra meditation and embark on a journey towards inner peace, self-acceptance, and a heightened sense of gratitude for yourself.

Find a cozy, comfy place to sit back and chill with Mia's meditation. This episode is our follow up from Alexandra (#43). Alexandra enjoyed both meditation practices and hot sweaty yoga classes to help her balance not only her professional dance career physical requirements, but also to help her find discipline in her personal life. We hope you enjoy Mia's meditation on opposites!

In this week's episode, Adrienne guides you through a Yoga Nidra Meditation inspired by last week's guest, Amanda. If you haven't listened to episode 39 yet, what are you waiting for?!
Yoga Nidra or "yogic sleep" is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Clinical studies have shown that Yoga Nidra meditation is associated with positive physiological changes, including improvements in several hematological variables, red blood cell counts, blood glucose levels, and hormonal status. In fact, one hour of Yoga Nidra equates to roughly 4 hours of deep REM sleep!
Last week, Amanda opened up about how her "hot tears" in savasana had her coming back to her mat over and over again. Now, Amanda is a beloved, full time Yoga teacher, where she specializes in serving people in various rehabilitation and mental health facilities throughout SATX.

In today's episode, Mia went outside to record this practice on a beautiful afternoon in Texas. So grab a notebook or your phone and settle into a comfortable place to practice this journaling exercise.
Meditation on questions you have is a valuable practice to gain clarity and insight. Take a few moments to breathe deeply, relax, and focus on your question.s Allow your mind to become still, and let thoughts flow without judgment. With patience and an open heart, you may find a deeper understanding or intuitive answers to your questions during this meditation.

In today's interview, Mia and Adrienne sit down with Maddie. Maddie spent 10 years as a professional, competitive Irish Dancer traveling all over the world. She first utilized Yoga as a recovery practice after pushing herself with tons of strength training. Yet, throughout her time on her mat, she recognized that Yoga provided her a space to slow down, trust the process and put in the work to truly appreciate and love herself.

When yoga is practiced continuously over time, and with devotion and sincerity, it will become a firm resting place.
