In early 2021, we hosted MSI’s Global Head of HR, Chris Courneen, for an HR at the Table episode on what can happen when a CEO and HR are aligned. We took things a step further with Chris Courneen in Episode 6 of Season 2 of HR at the Table. We built on our previous discussion and explored how HR and Talent Acquisition professionals can prove undeniable value to their organizations by gaining corporate and executive buy-in.
The importance of women in the workplace has been a prevalent conversation for decades — and our female workforce is crucial when it comes to a business's success and sustainability. Yet, some organizations still fail to create an environment that empowers and leverages their women. Whether it’s an unconscious bias or a glass ceiling, women are faced with challenges when it comes to gender discrimination, pay disparity, representation, leadership status, recognition, and inclusion.
That’s why we hosted Teri Hassell, Region VP of HR at Sysco. Together, we discussed how organizations can increase performance and business sustainability by empowering their female workforce.
Today’s talent acquisition market is nearly unrecognizable. With new providers and platforms flooding the market, staying ahead of technology trends to effectively evaluate providers and solutions is becoming remarkably more challenging. To help us navigate the current state and future of talent acquisition technology, we hosted Aptitude Research Founder and industry-leading analyst, Madeline Laurano.
With today’s competitive talent market, it’s more important than ever for HR and talent acquisition professionals to understand the demands of their audience – candidates. The challenging thing is – what matters most to candidates is constantly evolving and nice-to-have benefits are now expectations. As talent recruitment continues to be a key function of successful companies today, we hosted Episode 3 of Season 2 of HR at the Table with the Vice President of Human Resources at Perlick Corporation, Lindsey Linder.
There’s a talent shortage across all industries, emphasizing the importance of expanding talent pools and redefining what ‘quality’ talent is. To help explore what this means for HR and TA professionals today, we hosted Surehand’s CEO, Chris Brenchley. With Surehand’s commitment to Rock the Trades movement, we discussed the importance of rocking skilled trades today, redefining job requirements, and using learning and development to develop employee commitment and loyalty.
Organizations today are faced with strong business disruptions and competition from new sources, emphasizing the importance of specialized talent for business innovation and sustainability. The war for talent is intense. Large Goliath-like organizations often have the upper hand when recruiting, hiring, and retaining talent, but that’s all about to change. With Minh Hua, the Chief Talent Officer at Stanley Black & Decker, we discussed how the “Davids” of today (like you!) can compete with modern-day Goliaths for top talent.
We were joined by EPS Corporation's Senior HR and Corporate Recruiter for a discussion on addressing the new wave of challenges facing modern-day recruiters.
We hosted the NFL's Head of Talent Engagement and Development, Rapti Mitra-Khurana, for an HR at the Table episode on reimagining hiring and employee engagement through structure and inclusivity.
We hosted Chesapeake Regional Medical Center's VP of HR, Debbie Rosenburg, for an HR at the Table episode on building an agile and adaptive hiring strategy.
