HR1 - Spencer Strider’s return was overshadowed by Braves’ bats striking out 19 times
Mike Johnson and Sam Crenshaw recap and react to the Atlanta Braves losing 3-1 to the Toronto Blue Jays yesterday despite a solid first start by Spencer Strider. The guys also give their take on how Spencer Strider looked in his first start back since an April 2024 surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. Then, Mike Johnson and Sam Crenshaw react to the Miami Heat beating the Chicago Bulls last night 109-90 in the NBA Play-In Tournament setting up a win or go home play-in tournament game between the Hawks and the Heat that the Hawks will host. The guys also explain how last night's outcome between the Kings and Mavericks in their play-in tournament game hurt the Hawks' chances of having a first round pick this year. Mike Johnson and Sam Crenshaw also react to reports that Nico Iamaleava's camp said Iamaleava holding out from Tennessee's spring practices and meetings wasn't because of money, but because they wanted reassurances from Josh Heupel that he was going to recruit better offensive lineman and receivers. Finally the guys close out hour one by talking about if Terry Fontenot and the Falcons have a set plan going into next week’s draft, or if they’ll still change their mind between now and then.
