The mayor gave his "state of the city" address; Madison County Commission got their budget voted in; City of Huntsville had some birth pangs working on their budget, too. I go on and on about the Madison County Commission meeting of the 13th of Sept and the Huntsville City Council meeting of the 14th. Some exasperation, some laughs, some cat noises.

Huntsville Utilities must've gotten a goodly amount of pushback on their proposal to hike water rates from the previous meeting. They came in full company with backup from engineering firm -- to sell it harder. That's a thing that happened -- the vote was postponed. And maybe you'll be interested in a few other observations I happened to espouse! Thanks for listening.

Danny, who ran for Huntsville City Council last year, joins us again to talk about bikes and moving to Austin!
