"joy from below"
production, songwriting by solo monk(charles hastings)
I feel so much joy from below
From the feet to the ground to the dead and the granite rock
Hoping some energy or wisdom seeps through my greasy pores and stops
Right at the base of my brain. Keep the tension in my neck.
Sometimes I wish I had a drill. Let these moods leak from my head.
Cause they build up, they always build up.
I bark when I mean to sing
When I go to meditate, it’s sleep and no dreams
