    Climate activists will rally in Albany on Saturday, April 29 at the state teachers' union (NYSUT) annual meeting in Albany to urge their leadership to implement previously adopted resolutions in support of divesting the state pension funds from fossil fuels. Jordan Dale of DivestNY discusses the rally and the overall divestment effort. The state bill to require the NYS Teachers' Retirement System to divest has more than 85 co-sponsors.

    At the Climate Earth Day rally at Schenectady City Hall, several hundred heard speakers call for faster climate action, including a performance by a local drag queen and local musicians.
