Sunday? The supermarket is closed.
Credit card? Cash only, please.
Finished scanning? Now pack fast.
After 6+ years in Germany, I'm looking back at the moments that shocked me when I first arrived. From standing outside a closed supermarket on Sunday, to panicking at the checkout counter while groceries piled up faster than I could pack. This episode is full of the little culture clashes nobody warns you about.
If you've ever moved to a new country and thought "wait, this is completely normal here?" Then, this one is for you.
Huh? Germany!
What is it really like living in Germany?
In this episode, I share three things about German life that I still can’t fully get used to, even after living here for a while.
Some of these are frustrating,
some are eye-opening,
and some… I’m still trying to understand.
If you’ve ever lived in Germany or in any other country,
you might find this surprisingly relatable.
