The Human Family presents Human Voices, a podcast exploring stories from artists and filmmakers who are creating socially aware and relevant art. These conversations, niche as they may sound, are actually universal. Every episode features a guest as they explore their own spiritual connection to their work as well as what it means to be human and why we try to tell stories or express ourselves at all.
Today’s guest is Samuel Spryncznatyk, a filmmaker who resides in Bismarck, North Dakota. Following a near-death experience last year, the North Dakota Human Rights Film & Arts Festival recognized Sam for his contributions to the artistic community by naming our documentary feature award after him. In 2017, the first Samuel Sprynczynatyk Documentary Feature Storyteller Award recognized Dodging Bullets for their extraordinary accomplishments.
