Both Maria McDermott and Farrah Soudani survived the demonic Aurora theater shooting in 2012 - physically. But the emotional, psychological, and spiritual scars and challenges remained. The two share their experiences with P.K. in traveling through the darkness of 'survivor's guilt' and questioning the existence of God after such a traumatic tragedy and act of evil.

In the highly-anticipated build-up to the theatrical release of 'The Dark Knight Rises' during the summer of 2012, Maria (Carbonell) McDermott and Farrah Soudani were planning for a big night of fun at the movies.
