No doubt, 2020 has been a funky year but there's been some good things right? On this episode, I chat with creative filmmaker, photographer, videographer and old high school friend, Bobby Hicks. Bobby recently left New York so I wanted to get his thoughts on his experience post-pandemic as well adjusting to his new home in Florida. We discuss he's background as a filmmaker along with discussing his views on our current political climate across the country.I really enjoyed this conversation and I bet you'll get a kick out of it too. Listen to the full episode out on all platforms but it's pretty funny on YouTube! Check out the video below or view here.

  • #96 | A Fresh Take

Great conversation with an old friend Steven Oppenheim and his partner Greg Studenny. They recently started an very innovated company, Fresh Air Matters where their mission is to help improve the quality of the air in our homes, through various products and their filter exchange model. Super interesting how we take air for granted, these folks taught me a lot on this podcast.

Steve and I also take about is full time job as a teacher, the educational system and how social media is changing everything we do surrounding this wild time we're living in.

If you get a chance, visit freshairmatters.com to see how they can help you and your family stay a little bit healthier. You can listen to the full episode now on all platforms or watch the video on YouTube below.

We discuss how to make passive income through business and real estate but we also talk about how spending less money on things we don't need will generate you income.

  • #94 | Bye Bye 2020

We're saying goodbye to maybe one of the worst years of this generation but will things be different in 2021? I strongly believe that each day (and year) is what we make it.

Of course, this year was tough for a lot of families, businesses and so many people that faced a tough time during the pandemic but how did this effect you? I know for me there was many challenges but most of which were out of my control so what can you do?

Unfortunately we won't be able to control a lot in our lifetime but we will always have control on HOW we react to situations. In 2021, don't let this pandemic or anything else stand in your way of being the best YOU there can be.

That's what this episode is about, making the best of things NOT the worst. You can see the video below or listen on all platforms by visit theberardo.com/byebye2020

  • #93 | Creating For Now

This episode I chat with friend and owner of BluePrint Productions, Ben Mangum. Today we briefly chat about how much video has grown over the years and especially because of COVID, small businesses should be spending extra time and energy promoting their business by getting content out, now.

Ben's company has created some great content for local businesses here in Florida so he might be able to help you as well, even if you don’t run a business.

  • #91 | Find Yourself

It's a weird time and it seems to become harder everyday to stay motivated with all the BS out there on that darn internet huh?!

Welp, you can't control a lot of things out there but you can control one thing - YOU. How you react, What you do & Who you spend time with. Make this a priority as we get closer to a New Year.

On this brief podcast, I lay out some steps I've been taking to ensure that I'm happy and more importantly how I DON'T care what other people are doing, I believe that's one of the keys to being positive during this time.

  • #90 | Quarantine Hobbies

This is a special podcast because it was filmed LIVE on Facebook over the weekend. I had fun, chatting with friends in the comments and using Ecamm Live I was able to even invite guest on, LIVE just like a radio show.

In the beginning I simply rant about our heath and some good practices during quarantine like working out, taking supplements, etc. Then I bring on two guests using the Ecamm Live Interview Mode. Jason and I talk about what we do to stay occupied during quarantine, while Anthony and I talk about his move in the Navy and how training in the gym is a meditation, plus a bunch of other topics.

  • #88 | Treat Everything Better

The title is fitting for this episode as we just spend over an hour talking about how each of us started to treat things a little better recently. Everything from animals, our bodies, we even talk about the horrible conditions of factory farming.

This podcast, I sit down with someone who has spent most of her adult life taking care of animals as a licensed veterinarian technician in the states and about 2 years ago started her own Animal Rescue in Orlando.
