Sometimes Nebraskans have to recover from storms and floods. The heroic phase of disaster response (sandbagging and people pulling together) is often followed by a period of disillusionment (disappointment with aid and coping with clean up). Reconstruction takes time – and can be stressful. The Public Policy Center works to provide crisis counsel.

Once, I saw an exchange on Social Media between someone I knew and their family.  They had began arguing after the person I knew had posted a meme about not stopping to help a Trump supporter change a tire.  Her family angrily told her this made her a bad person.  One of the the posters typed, submitted, and proudly stated:  “I would even help Hitler change a tire”. 

So, that’s my question to you:  “Would you help Hitler change a tire?”

No, not actors who you think did a bad job. How do you deal with people who utilize dishonesty and obfuscation instead of truth and clarity? Listen in to a train of thought that starts with discussing grifters, liars, and derailers and ends on thoughts on gun control. It's a medely of thoughts all on how we can fight for Humanity.
