“Reflection”, published in “Seemingly Strange and Unusual Tales” written by Tiffany Pennywell and D.L. Holmes was one of the first stories I’d ever written for the horror anthology. I’m this episode I’ll be reading the tale as well as going over what and why the imagery I chose in this tale is frightening, and where it reflects (no pun intended) in the genre from the many interpretations of Clive Barker’s short story “The Forbidden”, to “Oculus”, “Behind You”, and other films and writings that show the dangers of reflective surfaces and the curses they sometimes come to bear.
