Two titles debuted this past weekend to vastly different audiences; we examine who turned out for Napoleon and Wish, and what titles found the strongest holdovers as The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes managed to retain the #1 spot in the domestic box office.     Box Office Overview:

    • The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes remained at the top of the domestic box office with a modest drop of 35%, grossing $42M over the 5-day period.
    • Napoleon debuted to $32.5M in the domestic market and $46M from 56 international markets, for a global total of $79M.
    • Wish debuted third in the domestic box office with $32M, with a further $17.3M internationally for a worldwide total of $49M.
    • Trolls Band Together grossed a further $17.5M over the 3-day period.
    • Thanksgiving had a very small drop of 29%, grossing another $7.3M domestically, bringing its total in the US market to $24M.
