This week, Lauren heads a solo conversation to chat about everything that has recently changed in both her internal and external landscapes. She couldn't have known it, let alone predicted it, but death has become the ultimate pattern interrupt. Confronting mortality has forced her to take a step back and re-evaluate her thoughts, emotions, habits, behaviors, and relationships. She understands what is truly important in life, and as she puts it in this episode, what is utterly pointless. Now, she is designing her new reality accordingly.

In this episode, Lauren reflects on what it means to feel hungry for more. She learned from culture and society that asking for more simply wasn't an option, and instead worked to make her primal hunger pretty and digestible. This inevitably meant making herself small.
For her, this smallness required restriction in every aspect of her life, from the physical to the emotional and spiritual. Lauren has recently experienced major changes in her relationships and her identity, especially after becoming a mother. She shares what it has been like to acknowledge these changes and her newfound, insatiable appetite for a bigger, fuller, truer life.
