In Hebrews 4, God invites us to enter His Sabbath Rest. It may seem paradoxical, even counterintuitive, but the idea of "pursuit" of something or to go "get" something tells your mind, your body, that you currently lack that thing. Again, we are faced with the difference between Facts and Truth: facts change, but Truth stays the same. So while it isn't simply burying your head in the sand, denying reality, or toxic positivity, it's important to examine our heart beliefs and inner dialogue around "gaining" from Heaven. If God has made His Rest available, instructing us to "cease from our strivings and works," we can make every effort to shift from "pursuing" the promises of God, into resting in belief that "He has already given us everything needed for Life and Godliness"...
